Cultural Awareness Training

CultureWise is a self‑paced online training program designed to foster Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness and safety within the aquatics and leisure industry. It supports the development of individual and organisational cultural capability through an easy‑to‑use online learning platform.

Developed by Belgravia Leisure with support from the Belgravia Foundation, the program is offered free of charge to the entire industry. It aims to guide staff in creating culturally safe environments and experiences for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The training program includes interactive learning activities, case studies, reflection prompts and knowledge checks. It is accessible online and designed to support staff with varying levels of digital literacy and cultural knowledge.

ACCESS PROGRAM

How to Signup to CultureWISE

  1. Either ‘Log-in‘ or click ‘Register now.’
  2. Enter your email address. Set and confirm a password
  3. A confirmation email will be sent to you from the Belgravia Foundation, click the link in the email to confirm your account.
  4. You will be directed to the learning portal. Enter you First Name and Last Name into the info screen.
  5. Click the green SAVE button on the bottom of the screen
  6. Click the purple Start button to launch the course.
